Cosying up to Country Living
Now, look, of course we don’t wear silver leather trousers and gold boots to our bakery….but if there’s a camera around we’re going to take that free pass to get glam. Yes we will put on some Charlotte Tilbury lippy, maybe colour match our knitwear to our teacakes- because otherwise this job would just be whisking sugar and washing stuff up.
And after a long Christmas of whisking and washing…we deserve to prance about a bit. And that’s where you find us in this month’s edition of Country Living magazine- sharing a little glimpse behind the scenes of our bakery along with an exclusive interview on how we make our marshmallows,HUGE news on a new stockist and why we chose to do it all here in Yorkshire- clue- it’s much prettier than a London shared commercial kitchen.
We chat about our commitment to using natural ingredients and innovative flavour combinations, our challenges and triumphs of running a confectionery business and why a good weekend stomp up the moor makes everything better
Country Living is an absolute stunner of a mag… their photography is beautiful, especially their portrait photography ( rumour is they are also one of the few mags that still pay their photographers a decent rate… and it shows) their articles are thoroughly researched, thoughtful and considered. Also, it’s full of nice stuff for your house, and I’m at that point of my life now. I have a lot of time for a good curtain fabric. I’m almost as thrilled as my mum that they featured us…so here’s a little treat for you; we have given their readers a discount code for 20% this month which I’m also sharing with you..CL20. Pop it into the discount box at checkout for 20% off everything on our site. So even if you’re not that bothered about reading the article or looking at our fancy trousers you don’t have to miss out on the sweet stuff.
